Allison Gay-Cunningham owner of Allison Events.
Allison Has been planning events since she was little planning tea parties for her friends. She really fell in love with event planning for others when she took a student body class and, in that class, she planned a full weeklong homecoming and managed her 24 classmates' tasks to help the week run smoothly. After the week was over and everyone had such a fun time at the lunch time activities and the dance was a hit, she realized she loved making other people happy by planning events. After moving to Mississippi in 2020 she got a job at a local venue and worked there as a day of coordinator and bridal attendant. After working there for 9 months and got over 30 weddings under her belt, she decided to start her own business and Allison Events was born.
How we work
We have 3 packages, Wedding management (also known as day of coordination), Partial planning and full-service planning. We pride ourselves on all our packages being really hands on! Our wedding management Package starts meeting 30 days out, but we do answer questions over email from the moment you book with us.
