Lee Wedding Recap

Taylor and Eli Lee. They both are from the south and they have known each other since they were kids, but they didn't hang out until her cousin married his best friend and they were both in the wedding party. Taylor is an X-ray tech, and Eli is an electrical technician. Their favorite thing to do together is anything that gets them quality time together whether it's watching a movie on the couch or going out to dinner.

On a cool February evening the Lees got married at Dogwood venue in Sumerall Mississippi. The couple chose Dogwood venue because they wanted a sweet southern wedding vibe but not necessarily in the barn setting. Dogwood is the perfect mix of modern and southern. They utilized the outdoor ceremony space in front of the waterfall with the gorgeous pews for the ceremony. Then they moved guests into the reception hall for the reception.

Taylors favorite moment of her wedding day was her first look of course but her second favorite part of the day was her ceremony. She said, “there’s truly no way to describe the overwhelmingly loving and peaceful feeling you get when you are walking down the aisle to the love of your life surrounded by all of your closest friends and family.”

There was a sweet ceremony followed by a wild reception. They wanted to create the party of a lifetime. The wedding color palette was a shade of light blue and a shade of dark blue mixed in with lots of white. Her favorite season is spring, so she felt like the colors fit perfectly into the spring vibe she was trying to create even though the wedding was in the winter. The couple got light up glasses and glow sticks for the after party.

When Taylor was sourcing her vendors, most were family friends which is definitely a blessing when it comes to planning the core parts of a wedding. Since they knew them previously the couple knew they would be a good fit. Taylor found my company on Instagram. After describing what she was looking for, she knew the importance of needing someone there to help with the timeline but since she already knew most of her vendors, I let her know the wedding management package was perfect for her. It includes timeline creation, floor plan creation, day of coordination and more!
